I have no idea about the fandom, I just watched because of Mountain Goats, and I loved the way it's sort of dark and moody but surreal at the same time. Beautiful vid!

This is so gorgeous and... in a really good way, dissonant. The visuals and the music work really well together and I love the way that you've used what is a really beautiful movie. Awesome.

<3 This brought back all my favorite aspects of the film - so I've read some of the original comic books, but what I find unique about the film is how it's even more firmly entrenched in an angels-and-demons universe, like that of the film Dogma or the RPG In Nomine, and this vid played well into that. I also really like The Mountain Goats but don't know their full library of works, so this one was new to me. :)

This is one of the most perfect matches of song and source I have ever seen. John Darnielle's nasally punk rock voice fits the dark fantastic visuals wonderfully and and lyrics were basically tailor made for this story. Also the editing was really fantastic. This movie hits a lot of my favorite visual and narrative kinks and was really formative for me so this vid being so extremely well done is almost like a gift for me as well as the the very lucky recipient. Thank you for making this!

Dear festvidder,

thank you sooo much for this awesome video!

I love everything you`ve done, the perfect music (I didn`t know the music so far), and the clips you choose to go with it. I love the feeling of the video, the way you`ve made the clips go with the music, the emotions. It`s so much more than I thought a Constantine vid could be.

Constantine is one of my all time favorite movies, this vid of yours goes onto the list of my all time favorite videos.

I`m sure I`m going to watch it again and again, and again ...

THANK YOU !!!

This vid is just absolutely gorgeous. You do a beautiful job of drawing out all the strangeness and terribleness of the original source, and GAH the song choice is perfect! I have always wanted to vid Mountain Goats, but wasn't sure how to go about it. Now I see how it's done!

This was beautiful and disturbing in all the best ways. The sequence 1:30 - 1:45 was my favourite, and there was great timing and clip choices everywhere.
