Oh, this is gorgeous. I love the flashes to teenage!Laurie in the beginning, and the way you bring out the (incredibly messed up) connection between her and Michael....Laurie being haunted by him. I'm filled with love for Laurie right now. And also, you.

Thank you, so much!

I'm so glad you liked it! I did make a level-best effort to also make a Halloween 3 vid, but nothing came to me song-wise. Alas.

I love how this is about survival. Shifting the focus so that we get to see the beginning as well as a long time later side by side, it changes the shape of the horror. Such a clever vid.

This is so awesome, I love it! Such a brilliant look at Laurie and everything she went through and how she dragged herself out the other side of it. I love the side by side stuff at the start, and the song has a wonderfully eerie quality that you did some great stuff with. Absolutely wonderful.

I really love the shape of this song. The mood was so good I kind of disconnected from the lyrics and let the vid float through.

I've never seen any of these films and you tell the story really well here, it was very interesting!

The first Halloween is a work of genius. The more modern film is pretty decent if you're just watching for the parts with Jamie Lee Curtis.

I love what you did with all the little moments of shock on that sound in the music.

This is amazing. You tell the story so well here! Seriously, this vid sums up things it would take me hours of flailing to try to say about final girls and survivors and why H20 is actually a really fascinating horror movie, and the atmosphere you've created is both beautifully eerie and eerily beautiful.

Aw, thank you! That's really what I was aiming for -- a summation of the survivor.

Wow. Powerful portrait of survival, and I love the way you edited all the crashy/shocky moments in the audio, sometimes as the moments of trauma themselves, sometimes as moments of survival, and sometimes as PTSD reactions afterwards.

I tried to vary it up, but I made my best effort that the crashes were moments of stress of some kind.
