Detect my sudden existence on your sonar

You feel the echo

Electrify the resistance in your broken heart

And burn it up, oh

We’re gonna photosynthesize and drink up the sunrise

So do they ever shut up because you said so or

Do you overthink ’em all

Somebody ought to corrupt you on the dance floor

And take you home

Show you all your daemons and desires and dark sides

All of your colonies and continental divides

Let me uncover the silver in your dark hair

The weight of your bones

I want to witness the beauty of your repair

The shape you’ve grown

For you are made of nebulas and novas and night sky

You’re made of memories you bury or live by

So if you’re out there in the cold

I’ll cover you in moonlight

If you’re a stranger to your soul

I’ll bring you to your birthright

I want the storm inside you awoken now

I want your warm bright eyes

To never look away

Don’t you ever look away

Some nights we open up the flood

And some nights we are lost

And some nights we’re choking on the words

But some we light on fire

So if you’re out there in the cold

I’ll cover you in moonlight

If you’re a stranger to your soul

I’ll bring you to your birthright

I want the storm inside you awoken now

I want your warm bright eyes

To never look away

Don’t you ever look away

I want your warm bright eyes

To come back to me

And hold on to me

You know I won’t lie

I will never look away

Ahhhhh, this is SO gorgeous and full of joy. Beautiful musicality - I love your editing to the changes of pace in the music - and what a perfect song choice, you've really captured that kind of outpouring of relief and joy in the source. Thank you!!

So clearly I need to catch up on the BBC's latest slew of Shakespeare productions... Seriously awesome job - you take a complicated plot, and a complicated production, and pull out really strong visual and narrative themes. Great song choice, great vid.

Oh my gosh, this is gorgeous -- not just the source, which now I REALLY want to get my hands on (Titania/Hippolyta? YES PLEASE), but also the way the song brings out such a marvelous set of the play's thematics: what people see in each other, how people can be made to see what's not real, "daemons and desires and dark sides." Just marvelous.

I haven't seen this version yet but clearly I NEED TO! Wonderful storytelling and you brought out the themes beautifully. That final shot of the security guy closing the video feed of Theseus dying is fantastic.

What a fantastically vivid work. Like most here I haven't seen that adaptation, but it was very easy to follow the characters, and I loved how evocatively you cut to the song. Wonderful!

Oh, great to see this! Love all the Puck moments, starting with the one in 0:57 when the music picks up and the vid really dives into the forest world. Love the second "If you're out there..." part with the Titania/Hippolyta scenes, awesome lyric ties, and it's lovely how the feeling of relief and joy carries through after that (taking the banners down, yay!).
