Lyrics
I've got this feeling that there's something that I missed, don't you breathe
(I could do most anything to you)
Something happened that I never understood, you can't leave
Every second, dripping off my fingertips, wage your war
Another soldier says he's not afraid to die, well I am scared
In slow motion, the blast is beautiful, doors slam shut
A clock is ticking but it's hidden far away, safe and sound

Oh, damn. What a great way to showcase the cost of the crown.

This is really visually stunning, in source, editing, and following through on the theme. It's beautifully and, I can tell, thoughtfully done.

Oh.My.Gosh. This is - hands down - my absolute favourite fanvid of all of festivids this year and I think I have a fairly certain hunch who made it. Hun? This is amazing! I don't even know where to start. Maybe with the fact that I can't be objective about this at all because not only am I a complete Shakespeare nut - nope I also loved the whole Hollow Crown adaption from 2012 - all four plays. I ADORE them and with your massive editing skills this vid truly became a masterpiece! The way you were able to seamlessly jump from character to character and tie everything together and make it a seamless one is just wow.

Bravo! Bravissimo! :claps madly:

This is a powerful vid that I think I'll see more and more in each time I watch it. I love its slow build from this interplay between character and object to the more epic scale of battle (like that beautifully edited moment around 2.03!) all through the transfer of power via object--the crown--to the violence that comes with the transfer of the crown. You get a real sense of the emptiness of power that so many die for. There are some absolutely beautiful, breathtaking moments of intercutting, especially on the change-of-crown moments throughout. And that final climax from 3.07-3.12 does not fail to give me chills each time.

Yes, the more I watch this vid the more I get a sense of how carefully and intricately it's constructed, from section to section. Rather like another vid I can think of... :D

Then there was that moment where I yelled "it's Lady Mary!" and had to run off to IMDB to be sure...

*cough* also something about how if I'm wrong about who made this I'll eat my scarf...*cough*
