What a fabulous and heart-tugging character study. You do a great job of showing how Ma Joad is the family's center. It's a strong and sad movie, and the clips you've chosen underline both the strength and the sadness.

The song is lovely, a perfect fit, both in the lyrics and in the mood it sets.
