Lyrics
She knows that if she ever breaks free
That she will never see the light of day
She's been blinded by the stars and dreams she craved
And if they ever let her go
She'll still be bound to all her fears
And all the medicine they forced her to take

On and on and on she goes
On and on and on she goes
But she will never ever ever find love
Unless she takes on the fight
Along with the northern light

They found her in the basement facing east
Howling wolves and inhaling beasts
Were strangling every little dream she had in there
And if she ever finds her way
They will haunt her through the day
Until she breaks and then becomes one of them, 'cause

On and on and on she goes
On and on and on she goes
But she will never ever ever find love
Unless she takes on a fight
Along with the northern light

Yeah

On and on and on she goes
On and on and on she goes
But she will never ever ever find love
Unless she takes on a fight
Along with the northern light

She knows
That if she ever let go
She will only lose her soul
There's no way out of this hell
Yeah

This is just an incredible vid. The song choice is so perfect in both lyrics and overall tone, and the flow is amazing. I love that both the narrative and the movement work with your song choice. It's so difficult to get both. You've also managed some really beautiful transitions between clips, like the rapid intercutting between baby Elizabeth and teenage Elizabeth reaching for Booker, or the cut from the open rift to Paris to the Songbird's eye. And at the same time, you capture Elizabeth really deftly, I think, in all the different ways you see her during the game and all the impossible choices she gets backed into making. I loved it so much, and I've already watched it several times.
