Vidder. VIDDER. I LOVE THE 90S SO MUCH. AND THERE IS SO MUCH 90S. I would never have thought of Semi-Charmed Life for The Craft on my own, but you are working it SO HARD here, magic-as-addiction spiraling out of control, and it's so good. AND DID I MENTION IT'S SO 90s, so much, I mean, if you asked me what the most 90s song I could think of was it would probably be this one, it's like you took the 90s and multiplied it by a magnitude of itself. My only regret is that I don't have any of my high school wine-black death goth lipstick to throw on right this minute. THAT'S IT. THAT'S MY ONLY REGRET. (I'm slightly excited, don't know if you could tell ... hee.)

what an A++ song choice :D
longwhitecoats: Lando Calrissian with his arm around Han Solo, pointing. (Friendship is magic)

This is GLORIOUS. The friendship and Wacky Hijinks in this movie are so great, and you captured them wonderfully! What a perfect song choice, too.

You've captured exactly the cheesy appeal of this movie - and your summary is killing me.

This is absolutely wonderful! I haven't seen the source but I can tell how 90s and up my alley this would be, and the song choice definitely helped amplify that. :D

Hah, I didn't get the title pun until the credits. I really enjoyed this! I lived thru the 90s without knowing this song was about drug use ... and we all know magic=drugs!

This is so great! Excellent song choice, and I love how your clips and editing changed pace and tone with the song and really brought out the feeling of the film. Yay!

I am completely unfamiliar with the source but here on Skygiants rec, and "all fun peppy nineties sleepover DEATH" is quite the summary! But as any fan of Buffy knows: magic = drugs, and what starts as woman-to-woman bonding and taking back of female power soon becomes EVERYTHING SPIRALING OUT OF CONTROL AND ALSO DEATH. :-D

A+++, vidder, for capturing this excellent slice of the 90s. At the time, I so desperately wanted to be a witchy goth, due in no small part to this movie, and seeing it like this makes me smile.

It's 1997 again! And this vid speaks to my angsty teenage soul who unironically adored this movie! Loved this vid. :)

THIS IS SO PERFECT. Not least because that song is a lot more fucked up than any of the chaperones at our high school dances realized. Which makes it even more fitting.

Ha, this is brilliant! What a perfect song choice, and your editing was flawless. Creepy and hilarious all at once.

I too regret your lack of death lipstick. I regret my own, and I never even had any (but now I want some). I made this in a haze of ever-spiraling nostalgia, and I think I went back too far, because I wanted slap bracelets back by the end. Thank you for giving me an excuse to rewatch this movie.
