OMG OMG OMG this is SO FABULOUS!

From a technical standpoint, I love the motion in this vid -- both the motion you created with clip pacing (a lot of this show is talking heads, but the vid doesn't feel that way at all) and the motion Sorkin put there (ahahaha, wow, he really was practicing for West Wing, wasn't he -- all of those walk-and-talk scenes!)

But mostly this vid hits me in an emotional place, and that place is OH DANNY and OH CASEY and OH SHOW ♥ ♥ ♥

I love this so much. I can't wait to watch this again and again. Thank you, mystery festividder!

Danny!

I love the pacing and motion in this, how the flurry-of-motion sequences suddenly arrive on a longer, more still shot of Dan. And that observation actually leads me to think about how brilliant and DANNY it is the way the vid captures both his playfulness interacting with his co-workers/friends and his constant inner monologue of uncertainty and self-doubt. God, I love him!

I can't find more words at the moment because my brain is fully of Oh, DANNY!

Lovely character study. The way you start with the surface of Danny and Casey in the studio and then delve under that to explore how Danny copes and lives outside of it was really done well.

Oh, Danny! Oh, my little heart nearly burst over with joy for this vid. SN was a special fandom for me, a show that I'm still nostalgically fond for, but it's not a show that I've ever thought would vid well. So much of the show is grounded in the dialogue, in characters talking, but you've made such a vivid piece full of movement and emotion! I really love it.

This is a fandom of my heart and you've done a beautiful job.

Really great vid for capturing the playfulness of Dan Rydell along with his serious side and big heart. Song selection and the way you edited it really worked together wonderfully to that end.
