I really liked how you distilled the movie here, tracing back to the very beginning and pulling forward, and how Jack and Daniel really did start out worlds apart as they stood in the same room, but wound up connected at the end even as they stood on different worlds. Really nicely done!

This is lovely. I thought it did a great job of gently pointing out some of the problematic elements of the Stargate team interacting with the people of Abydos, but still retaining a lot of love for the story, too.
