This gives such a great sense of the world as well as the characters -- the hallucinations are weird and funny, and the end appropriately grisly. Wonderful!

I haven't even seen this movie, I just love XTC and anything that involves Sherlock Holmes, so... I clicked. And, WOW. I love the use of this song, and I also really like that the video didn't suddenly become UBER CRACKY until the middle (is the movie like this? surprise WTF? or does it LURE YOU IN in the manner of this vid?), which was a nice surprise. Great job!

The movie is cracky, but I still love it a lot.

This is kind of exactly me, too. I love the song, don't know the movie (which I wanted to see until about halfway through when the WTF?!? kicked in) and I really like the way you've constructed your visual narrative to match the lyrics without being either overly literal or overly obscure.

I love this video! It made me feel 20 years younger! (I used to love this movie so much, I should watch it again sometime.)

Damn, I thought I didn't like that movie, but you've convinced me otherwise. I love the way you ended it.

Haha, cute vid. :) It's been ages since I watched this movie, and on seeing this vid I think Watson looks kinda like Harry Potter.

Oh, this brings back fond memories. I totally didn't remember how bizarre this movie was, even though I remember that the plot made sense--at least, I think it did, since you make me doubtful of that.

I love how you construct the story here, building the world, introducing us to the characters, and then throwing us headlong into the plot. It's very clear and fascinating. I like what you did on the "lemon and lime" lines.

(I also can't help but note that you seem to bring out scenes that can be comparable to the recent movie adaptation--intentional? No? It's interesting, in any case.)

God, I didn't remember just how insane that movie really is. This was so nostalgic for me, with all the little lovely details of the film, and then all I could do was shake my head at the complete overdone WTF of it all.
