I love how the intro clips show Lilo unhappy and being held or chastised, and then it breaks into her being happy and taking control of her own life/movement, and being encouraged by her family. Great song choice, the visual metaphor of dancing/movement/empowerment really works and carries throughout! I love this whole vid, it made me smile and cheer!

I just watched this three times straight through. It's wonderful! The song is perfect, and I love how you work the movement in the clips with the music. (The drum flurry at 0:53 is about my favourite, and the moment of sudden stillness at 1:59.) I'm going to have this tab open for the foreseeable future; it just makes me so happy. Yay!

This is amazing! It's utterly adorable, but with the right amount of melancholy at the beginning to make the ending that much more awesome. Perfectly captures the feel of the movie, great song choice and fantastic editing. It does make you want to dance for joy.

laurashapiro has this on her reclist and I went, OMG LILO & STITCH, and have watched it, and this was like, way more moving than World of Color, and I am nearly speechless with the awesome.

More seriously, thank you for this, because it captures all of the film's emotionality and poignancy, and set with/against that song it is perfect and amazing.
