This is totally charming. I love the way you've taken the standard visual iconography of the show and turned it to serve the story of these two. I only know Stephen Asprinio (I haven't seen season one, so I know him from other seasons where he's made various sorts of appearances) but even without knowing the relationships behind the scenes this season, I can see the warmth and the collegiality and the angst and the catharsis and the hugs. Nice work!

This was such a joy to watch, and totally reignited my love for Top Chef - not just these two, but the whole pressure-cooker atmosphere of talented people doing crazy things on no sleep. And the way you...I guess turned the manufactured reality narrative of the show into a different sort of manufactured narrative was really masterful!
