I've never seen this show so at first I was, like, yes I will go on an adventure with you, whichever one of you is Brisco (I assume one of them is the Brisco of the title?). And I'm grooving along to the delightful use of the whistling and the kickass explosion on the beat and then...I'm like, NO WAIT, WHAT JUST HAPPENED? but you were all helpfully NO WAIT with me and the second half came along with airships and awesome and all was right with the world. <3 <3 <3

HOW HAVE YOU NOT SEEN THIS SHOW?

It is the BEST! The best, the best! It's a completely cracked steampunk/sci-fi Western. It was one of those things in the Friday night death slot before the X-Files, but even in one season, they managed to wrap up the arc plot satisfyingly. My vid makes it look so much less ridiculous than it really is. I left out the ninjas and Brisco's horse playing chess and the time travelers and...

...and occasionally, it tried to fake us out with some tragic death, usually with a lot of "I'm glad I'm here with YOU" kind of talk beforehand. Tragic death that is inevitably followed up by some hilarious deus ex machina and absurd shenanigans!

I LOVE the talky-face in this vid, because it works, you have the timing down so precisely, people have SILENT-FILM CONVERSATIONS that make complete sense, it is amazing. The timing on all the eyebrows and non-verbal communication was brilliant as well. I really enjoyed the maps with the moving end point, I just dig that kind of stuff in films. Also middle of the vid, "The first half", so hilarious the way you structured this.
