I just linked a friend to this saying that The Third Man is my favorite film noir--maybe not the best but definitely the most underrated. You capture the threat and doom and post war anxieties really well. I didn't think I'd want to associate anything but the theme music, but Faceoff certainly sets a tone right off the bat. Great work. Thank you!

Hello vidder! Thank you so much! I love how much of the atmosphere and the VIENNA you've pulled into the short amount of space. This is my very favorite film of all time and you show everything that's fantastic about it.

I'm also a big fan of Kevin McLeod, incidentally, having been introduced to his work via Critical Role.

I'm SO glad you liked it! I think Kevin McLeod is such an underappreciated composer for vidders, so it makes me happy that worked for you as well.

Those visuals make the eccentric characters even more eccentric.

Great job capturing the post-war paranoia and tension and the slinky, twisty narrative -- and with so many of the noir, deep-focus, dramatic shots and scenes. The music fits perfectly!

You're working uphill because the Third Man's zither music is so integral to its creepiness. Yet you picked excellent music to highlight the power, destruction, and possibility of the post-War city.

I know what you mean about the zither music from the movie!

beautiful fanvid! the movie left me pretty lukewarm but your vid really nailed the intense feeling of the city in that situation
