I haven't seen the film, but this was creepy and excellent and I was SO HAPPY when she escaped at the end.

I'm a big fan of the movie and I really like how you handled it. The vid doesn't need what you left out. Excellent use fantasy and reality for the books and how he was a doomsday preppery and then the dead animals. And "passages" and of course "broken dreams" on the sketchbook with them leaning against the wall. And geez, that clip of him eating an ice cream cone after the acid. Nice.

I haven't seen the movie, but this was gripping and dark and told the story very well. Yay, escape at the end! Great vid.

Ohhh this is wonderful (and super creepy)! I love how light and quick the cutting is, feeding into that always-on-your-heels sense of foreboding the movie had. My favourite bit is the "midnight hours" stretch with this great mix of everything being fine and Seriously Not Fine at the same time.

That was great! It captured all the tension of the movie so well, and I loved the sense of movement through it so that her initial flight and final flight seemed to run in a straight line.

This was so captivating, even though I've never seen this movie. The way you showed the physical space was really effective at setting moods. The plot was fairly clear to me, which is not an easy thing to do! Very cool.
