oooooh, this is lovely! I would never have thought of this song for this source, but you bring them together beautifully - great cutting and great motion, funny without losing the emotional depth of the film. Awesome.

What a neat song choice. Music, palette, the advantage you take of their wonderful facial expressions -- it all hangs together beautifully.

I would never have thought of that song, but it's a great combination, and you make it very funny but sill them - my favourite bit was the combination of the lines "I'm taking the time for a number of things
That weren't important yesterday" with Bertie painting Lionel's son's model.

Fantastic song choice and editing! You really used your source material well to make a very nuanced, layered, but also readable vid (ie, if you hadn't seen the film, the story would be very clear). I thoroughly enjoyed this and will be reccing!

OMG, it's my Lionel and Bertie vid! Mine, all mine!

*squishes it hard*

The fabulosity of this vid cannot be adequately conveyed, for my mere typed wordage is far too inept. So, I shall THANK YOU profusely (and go watch it again and again and again).

YOU ROCK.

*HUGS*

This is STELLAR!!! I love it. The inventive song choice provides such a beautiful rhythm for exploring this journey... it's playful and quirky but you tell a serious story underneath it that is ultimately very moving. Captures the movie brilliantly!! *applauds*

Ooh, so lovely. Like everyone else, I loved the song choice and the movement and the way the vid was structured. (I particularly liked the section comparing Bertie and Lionel with their families; it made a parallel that was a bit more subtle in the movie.)
