Dear festividder, thank you SO SO MUCH for this! It gave me shivers and chills and jumping up and down in my chair.... The editing is so crisp, the slow opening and the increasing rapidity and urgency as we go on. I loved the way we felt Alisha's personality at the beginning, how she wields her sexuality, and then the turn from her power being an extension of that to realizing to dark and scary it is––but not running away from it either.

"I am a weapon of massive consumption"––yes yes yes. The song choice here is perfect for the way that it links Alisha into a larger world of sexuality-as-commodity, how she occupies that space even while she's stuck in the backwaters of community service.

I have been so busy I am not caught up on Misfits (yes, I spoiled myself, no, I don't care) but I am going to have to make the time ASAP so I can fully appreciate this amazing vid. I will comment again once I do!

Wow, this adds whole new levels to the "being taken over" part of the lyrics. The progression of feelings/plot/character development really comes through even if you haven't seen the source.

Oh, and I really liked the reflections in the water at 0:50

This was jaw-droppingly amazing, no doubt. The happy sunshine smiles of the first verse, and the darker shift for the first chorus, such a beautiful contrast, and everything you did with the "taken over by the fear" lines.
