Oh, I loved this! Excellent editing, and I really love the way you contrasted Sam's own time with Sam in the past (I don't think I've seen a QL vid that did that before, and I always used to love the glimpses of the future that Sam came from).

Oh, I loved this -- the progression, the emotion, the storytelling, all of it. So many good choices here, like mirroring some of those early shots (the plane, the baseball game, the trapeze) at the end with the followup shots; and mirroring Sam showing whoisie the sky with Al showing Donna the sky, and "give my wife my love, then nothing more" and everyone sad or crying -- gorgeous!

And wow, the spinning plane intercut with the electroshock, meep. I love how that leads in to the out-of-control middle section, and then Sam starts regaining control and we pull out of it with a shot of the plane leveling off and flying smoothly -- so damn good.

And then the warmth and joy of the end. *happy sigh*

The more I watch this, the more I love it, and I started out loving it a lot. Really lovely job. ♥

(Okay, one more specific clip comment because I can't resist: "floating weightless", with Sam dancing? Beautiful.)

Aww, this had so many cute moments. The 'string' analogy was a neat way to open, the slow build at the two minute mark was very nice, and the "coming home" baseball clip was just adorable.
