OHOHOH, creepy and gorgeous! I love your juxtaposition of Erica and Anna, and especially the idea that Erica is willing to do the dirty work, crawl through the grit and gore to find the truth and win the battle, that it's that down-to-earthness that sets her apart as a fighter. And the musicality of your vid is just amazing.

I haven't watched 'V', but have seen it around and been intrigued so I thought I'd give this a go and I'm so glad I did! I second isagel's comment about the musicality, it's so fantastic. I really love how you switched from Morena Baccarin's character on the 'flames behind her eyes' part to the other woman (forgive my ignorance!) on the last chorus. Brilliant culmination of their juxtaposition throughout.

Ooo, nicely done! Great use of the beats and off-beats of the song; the way you've edited to them with both internal bits of action and clip cuts makes effective visual moments that really pop. And, of course, the narrative is nicely spooky, too. :)

I know just enough about this show to know how awesome it was to compare and contrast these two women. This has a nice creepy feel but I could also really easily follow your narrative. Great song choice and use of motion too!

I haven't watched V but this makes me want to! And the song is perfect too, all about getting your hands dirty to find what you need. Really excellent!

I really, really enjoyed this!!! You take a mirroring that I think comes off as rather heavy-handed and too black and white on the show (Anna=Bad, Erica=Good) and give it a welcome dose of blurring and ambiguity while retaining the core conflict between the two of them. This strikes me as exactly the point (or at least one of the main ones) of a good transformative work.

Oh my goodness. This was just utterly mesmerising and amazing. You made the show so epic, everything it could be. I love the way the editing swoops to the music, the *eyes*, the way the two mothers are locked together in struggle... Oh, everything. I was pretty underwhelmed with V and wasn't all that excited to see a vid for it, but now I just want to watch this over and over (and maybe even S2 of the show).

ooooooooh, SHIVER. I came this close to requesting a V 2009 vid myself, mostly because I love Erika Evans ridiculously, but didn't end up doing so - lucky for me, I got an amazing V vid anyhow! even if it's technically a gift for someone else. :) What a gorgeous, powerful comparison of Erika and Anna; I love the way you show Erika being willing to hit Anna where it hurts, to cut past all the artifice and light shows and do the hard murderous work that needs doing. Oh gosh. Plus you've used the song so well - the on-beat/off-beatness of it is perfect. HOORAY FOR THIS VID! I think I will watch it again right now.

Terrific, laser-like focus, complete story in two and a half minutes. Expert cutting. A nearly whimsical attitude in the editing, working perfectly with the song's tone. Sharp as a knife. I love it.
