Wow. It's been a while since I watched this - the power of this film comes back to you in this vid. I cried a little at the end, with the repetition of 'our lives' and the moments of love and humor that are in the film. Thanks.

Giandujakiss's comments as a beta unfamiliar with the source were along the lines of "who is that masked pregnant lady? What's her story? I want to see more of her!"

I kept trying to find places in the timeline to shove scenes with her in, but couldn't make it work. All my favourite scenes of her - playing with Jasper's partner's hair, enjoying the refugee family fussing with her baby, she was being far too cheerfully light-hearted for this vid, which is about the people who sacrifice themselves for the hope her baby brings, and it was hard to fit her into that anywhere.

Thank you for your comment - it was probably my biggest regret with this vid, because I'm sure it could have been done, and been a better vid for it, I just didn't quite figure out how.

Isn't she wonderful? Big in homeland of Australia, but yeah, hasn't really made it big elsewhere. I'm especially fond of No Turning Back (with it's adorable animation), and I think All I Want is a s6/7 Buffy song, and Bird on a Wire is a s5 Dexter vid waiting to happen. All up on youtube.

Oh, this is beautiful, and gave me chills. So lovely and sad and hopeful.

This was painful like the movie, I have tears in my eyes. The voice of the singer sounds so young, that contrasted with the footage, made it all that much more impactful. The ending section, the joy of living, was wonderful.
