BRB crying dear festividder. This is absolutely beautiful and a perfect distillation of the movie-all the love and pain and discovery and ultimately freedom. This hit me right in the feels!

Your song choice was spot on and you made excellent use of the beautiful cinematography. I love how you used the club and changing scenes to bridge and represent the closet and separation between her worlds that comes apart with Bina. I also appreciated how you intercut that terrible beating from her mother after coming out with the scenes of her still standing. And the birds at the end - ugh my heart!

I don't know this movie, but you told a very clear story in this vid. I especially like the editing in the second part, how you matched the clips with the music and how you used the intercutting there, both of the beating with her standing on the roof and the flying birds with her leaving.
