Lyrics
She knows that if she ever breaks free
That she will never see the light of day
She's been blinded by the stars and dreams she craved
And if they ever let her go
She'll still be bound to all her fears
And all the medicine they forced her to take

On and on and on she goes
On and on and on she goes
But she will never ever ever find love
Unless she takes on the fight
Along with the northern light

They found her in the basement facing east
Howling wolves and inhaling beasts
Were strangling every little dream she had in there
And if she ever finds her way
They will haunt her through the day
Until she breaks and then becomes one of them, 'cause

On and on and on she goes
On and on and on she goes
But she will never ever ever find love
Unless she takes on a fight
Along with the northern light

Yeah

On and on and on she goes
On and on and on she goes
But she will never ever ever find love
Unless she takes on a fight
Along with the northern light

She knows
That if she ever let go
She will only lose her soul
There's no way out of this hell
Yeah

Darling vidder, I am speechless. This vid is SO BEAUTIFUL. It made me choke up with feelings for Elizabeth, her awesomeness and her fate. AUGH. TOO MUCH. CANNOT DEAL.

I love how well you use the beautiful footage, and perhaps especially how much weight you put on Elizabeth's relationship to Songbird. And all the inter-cutting between juxtaposed/paralleled scenes. And the perfect song choice. The beginning with Elizabeth's growth chart. The crescendo in the music after the 2:20 mark, with the multiple Elizabeths appearing is amazing, and everything after that is intense and amazing. The climactic explosion at 3:05, and the following obliteration and fall as the music softens is flawless, and then old Elizabeth at the end, reaching down, offering salvation. I am awed. SO GOOD.

Thank you so much for making me this! <3

Beautiful video. The first person POV was something that really affected the framing of the video and the way it presented Elizabeth; surprisingly more so than I felt even in the game itself; fascinating... I also found the closing shots particularly effective.

I really enjoyed this. I didn't realize until I started watching how difficult it must have been to visually show Elizabeth's timeline and personality (or it would have been for me, at least), but you pulled it off beautifully. And the ending was just gorgeous.

I've never played BioShock Infinite, but this was really mesmerising and beautiful even for someone who doesn't know the story.

This is very compelling, even with no source knowledge. Love the use of movement and intercutting between similar visuals at different times.

This is just an incredible vid. The song choice is so perfect in both lyrics and overall tone, and the flow is amazing. I love that both the narrative and the movement work with your song choice. It's so difficult to get both. You've also managed some really beautiful transitions between clips, like the rapid intercutting between baby Elizabeth and teenage Elizabeth reaching for Booker, or the cut from the open rift to Paris to the Songbird's eye. And at the same time, you capture Elizabeth really deftly, I think, in all the different ways you see her during the game and all the impossible choices she gets backed into making. I loved it so much, and I've already watched it several times.

Beautiful story, and a hugely impressive use of all those clips in first person perspective, you really made that bring the viewer into the vid.
