I'm going to have more coherent things to say about it later, after I've had time for x number of consecutive repeat viewings (where x is a very large number), but for now, I just have to say: SONG CHOICE! Nothing says semi-creepy, yet perversely loving stalkery behaviour like Depeche Mode! (Possibly the song choice means you know me well enough to have seen me talk about this in the context of another fandom, or that you are yourself a master of stalkery intelligence-gathering. Either that, or we are just very much on the same wavelength. I will not speculate.)

OMG, Capslocksquee, induced by me....your comment made me feel all giddy inside. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to vid for Rubicon and providing such an amazing prompt. And your more than gracious comments and recs.I know how much you like the show and Kale, so I'm chuffed that I didn't spoil it for you. I was trying to squeeze some Walter in there as well, but my editing skills where just not up to the job to make something out of the few Walter snippets that could be integrated with the rest of the narrative.

I'd love to claim that I am a 'master of stalkery intelligence-gathering' (what a frackingly amazing title to have) but I'm actually just a big DM fan, and as you said, since I was looking for a perversely loving stalkery song with some creepy on top and eerie on the side there was just nowhere else to look...

Here via Dorinda's rec. I've never seen or even heard of this show, but wow, I love this vid. What an amazing job you've done of showing the relationship, building suspense and intensity, and getting me interested in and invested in the characters and their story. Amazing work.

Thanks so much. Yes, the atmosphere of the show is defintly claustophobic and paranoid. The fast cuts at the end were actually more of a last minute solution but since you think it works I'll claim it's carefully storyboarded editing... *grin*

That was very seductive. I felt pulled into the story and wanted to know more. I really liked the use of objects -- the clover, the puzzles, the chessboard, the photographs. Nicely done.

Ah, the clover et al were my sneaky way of introducing some structure to the vid. Otherwise the vid would have lost it's way, I fear...And yes, I take 'seductive'.
