I love this! The song you chose is spot on, and you use it perfectly. Every time I heard "I loved you from the start", I wanted to clutch my heart. I particularly love the part where Maleficent tries to remove the curse, juxtaposed with Aurora playing the spirits, but the whole vid is gorgeous.

OMG Festividder, thank you SO MUCH for this vid!!! I absolutely love it and the song choice is absolutely perfect for Maleficent and the tone of the movie. I love how you begin with the beautiful imagery of the movie and show Maleficent's joy and wonder in the world while she was young. The transition into darkness is so beautifully seamless and I love how it changes with the tone of the music. I love the lyrics "there is love in your body but you can't get it out" which fits Maleficent so well and I love how you illustrate that with her using magic to show her angry emotions over her betrayal. I really love how you use the beautiful green imagery of her power and I really love that shadow shot at 0:53. I love how Maleficent first refers to Aurora as "darling heart" and the no excuse line for the spinning wheel, that fits so well. I love the use of the green magic and spinning wheel feel to the music, so pretty and musically well done.

I love the line "There is love in our bodies and it holds us together" with Maleficent not being able to leave Aurora and then "we all want someone to hold" is little Aurora wanting a hug, too freaking cute. I love how you show the more ominous side of Maleficent and Aurora with Maleficent using her power on her with the line "That the sweetest of words have the bitterest taste" with that slightly creepy musical notes with Maleficent's green hands being a great effect. I really love the transition to Aurora using her hands with wonder at the pretty colors, such a nice contrast between their two hearts. I love how "fool I've been" changes from the first verse with her loving the king to her being a fool for the curse and her "state I'm in" being the revenge with her trying to break it. I love Maleficent using her powers at 2:05 with the music and the continued use of them to the drumbeat in the music, really cool!

The big dramatic breakup to the change in the music was so perfect and "can't stop myself before it's too late" works so well with the clip which I loved that you faded into the sun. Then I started to tear up at "hold om to your heart" with Maleficent crying and the beautiful kiss and smiles were so cute and perfect :) I absolutely love how you went from Maleficent being trapped to her getting her wings back and Aurora's smile at it. And then the crown scene and the flying Maleficent, happy once again was PERFECT ending.
