Meant to come back sooner, WHOOPS. But I have watched this vid now approximately 417984 times and it doesn't get any less awesome and hilarious and wonderful and beautiful and PERFECT. The song choice is simply genius, it really does look like the song is choreographed to the song and the feel of the songs feels so similar. Amazing job cutting the song too, it feels like the song was made to be this length and I love that you just made your point in exactly the right amount of time. I can't believe that with such limited footage, you were able to construct such an incredible vid thats flows so well and doesn't get boring or repetitive. This is the ideal example in my mind of how to vid limited source (with talky face-holy shit how'd you do it?!) successfully and I am super, super impressed.

I love how you have Jefferson step down right on that first beat making his grand entrance right along with the music and the dancers falling back to the music was SUPER COOL. I love how you continue that with their hands back and forth with the music change which beautifully transitions to Jefferson closeup hands moving. Jefferson's shaking hand to the voice creshendoing til he waves it to the beat is BRILLIANT and I LOVE him pausing on "stop [love the stomp!] wait a minute", it is almost too perfect for me to handle. Not only does it literally match the lyrics, that little shrug closeup (of pretty) just fits Jefferson's arrogance of you must all wait for me ;) The "put some liquor" in it literal use of the glasses and him twirling his fingers to "fill it up" and then "sign the check" being the clink of finalizing the compromise was SO PERFECT and meant to BE and I am glad you as the vidder understood that. AND JULIO GET THE STRETCH OMG is like made for this scene and cracks me up everytime to see it.

I love that "ride to" coincides with Jefferson leaning back all cool and smiling all self-satisfied with those slaps down hitting the beat. It's so great how you make "Hollywood" being Jefferson being pulled around by the dancers, above it all, it just fits so well. I love that "Got Chucks on" was him exaggeratedly doing his walk that put the emphasis on his shoes and also his cool, fun attitude while being timed with the music. His little shrug is so perfect, like "I can't help that I'm beautiful" and the SYNCED UP KISS IS SOOOO PERFECT OMG I LOVE IT!!! But just when I think it can't get better, you have the dance put their feet out to "hot damn" and then MY FAVORITE CLIP IN THE MIDST OF PERFECT CLIPS: Jefferson's "who me, really?" with his eyes moving to that music. OMG I LOOOOOVE IT SOOOO MUCH and it makes me laugh and smile and LOVE HIM SO MUCH MORE so thank you, amazing Festividder for making that moment happen and giving me no end to happiness and glee.

I love that "call the police" is him calling for his cane back and then him being "too hot" is him being surrounded by dancers bowing down to him being all know it all. And his head tilt to the music is SO PERFECT along with his arms opening up all, look what I can do which matches the lyrics so well. I love him shaking his fist to "too hot" all confident like "hell yeah I am" and his step back at 0:35 is SUCH great use of the music. I'm SO HAPPY you brought Madison into it "say my name" and I love them shaking hands to "know who I am" showing that they both understand each other so well and are on the same side. I love that you have no shortage of "too hot" clips and I love Jefferson putting down his hands at :39 to the music.

My other favorite clip is "Am I bad 'bout that money" being Jefferson spreading Reynolds Pamphlets perfectly timed to the music and his fun, schadenfreude loving attitude, AHAHAHAHA SO PERFECT (sorry Hamilton!). I have to do that hand motion every time, it's just so HIM, asshole that he is lol. I love Sally taking the letter on the whoos intercut with Jefferson smiling/sidestepping and then Jefferson asking for more with his hand and the dancers responding back on the whoo, SO GREAT! I love how you transition with Jefferson tossing his cane on "just watch" and how the big music change is accompanied by the light change from blue to red.

Jefferson having SO much fun doing his laugh, sticking out his tongue and dancing to the music went SO well together, I swear this song was made for him! I love how his arms went to his side at "say what" which went into his "what'd the letter say" face so well. I love Sally's twirl on "funk you up" and the three clips at 0:57 worked SO WELL together and with the music which was the perfect match to that rise in his movements and expression. And it all led up to that wonderful Jefferson dancing with Sally clip on "funk you up" which is again made for this song. I love Jefferson's hand clasping his chest on "say what". And I LOVE Jefferson laughing about the Reynolds stuff with that huge smile and shaking his head to the music and to how that transitions beautifully to his hair bouncing while he dances. And that final clap wraps it all up so perfectly!

I love how you PACKED SO MUCH into this short, happymaking vid that I've seriously played (multiple times) during my lunch break at work to put me in a good mood. I'm so happy that now I have the perfect vid to watch over and over when I have Jefferson feels and I feel so unbelievably grateful that you were kind enough to make this vid for me and the world at large. I seriously never imagined in my wildest dreams that I'd get a Jefferson vid and not one even half as good as this. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU from the very bottom of my heart for making this for me and I LOVE IT SOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!
