I just loved this. The cadence was perfect for the intro, with the weapons being assembled and the power march in armor. And I loved the cool, slinky power as the music slowed and Rita slowly raised herself from the ground.

Also, thank you for introducing me to the song. It was great and I never even heard of it before.

You're welcome! Heather Alexander is a very niche artist -- she's a Celtic folk singer and musician, and a lot of her songs reflect that. Some are more memorable than others -- "March of Cambreadth" is one example, but a far more hilarious one is "Brannigan's Special Ale". (I would dare anyone to make a video of that song.)

I am such a glutton for these Edge vids that I pressed play on this before even reading your summary. So suddenly there's ALL THIS RITA in front of me and no Cage (well you have like three quick shots of him) and no other faces. JUST RITA. And suddenly it dawned on me that this is what the Battle of Verdun must have looked like!!! So thank you for visualizing so perfectly what we've only imagined and could only read in fic (if there's even fic for that idk). And then I read your summary and yup. You've done it, my friend!

Thank you! It was a bit of an interesting challenge, to be honest, and I'm glad that Mithborien gave me that as a direction to pursue. Not to say that there isn't quite a lot of footage with Rita in it, but there aren't as many shots that primarily focus on Rita alone, so crafting a vid that focused as much on her as possible, while syncing it up with the lyrics, was an enjoyable vidding quest.
