Festividder, oh my goodness! This vid is amazing! I'm teary eyed. The song, Judy Garland, is completely perfect; I laughed with glee just seeing the credit, and I hadn't even remembered that scene in the film yet.

I love the silliness of framing Mark's political activism being his queer performance tribute to Judy Garland (makes me think about the myth of Stonewall being triggered by Judy Garland's death), and how you play with that at the beginning then gradually amp up to the bigger movement and the solidarity it involves.

I loved the way you used long clips on some of the vocal moments early in the vid, holding us to attention as they unfolded. I enjoyed how much the miner women were in there, too!

THANK YOU SO MUCH, this is just what I wanted. <3

Oh, this was *beautiful*. I really love how you've framed Mark here, and the bit of Gethin and his homecoming on "was born across the sea". I hit the "Bread and Roses" scene and immediately teared up again. Such a lovely piece!
