This is absolutely gorgeous. Slow and creepy and beautiful, and so interesting, and beautifully edited. I love how you've caught the exact feel of the movie, and I love all the different motifs in the different sections - particularly the part with her hands.

HI this is absolutely amazing, holy butts, I love this vid so, so, so, so insanely much!! I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN?!

The structure, using those 5 different pieces of score to highlight/pull together different filmic elements is so wonderfully cool and unique. Opening with those over the shoulder shots/the camera trailing behind Jay!!! One of my favorite aspects of this film is the use of the camera POV at times as monster/stalker. There are so many of the movie's motifs coming into play here - Jay's red nails, all those excellent retro aesthetics that are full of nostalgia but also play with/against the decay of the suburban Detroit setting. Everything about this just so smartly and effectively captures the mood of the film and everything I love about it. Thank you x a million for making this vid gah!!!

WOW incredible, the section in the middle with her hands is SO gorgeous. What beautiful use of the source. Atmospheric and thoughtful! The suspense of this and the centering of the shots so relentlessly in the last section was lovely.

I love this. It's visually compelling, and the music choice is awesome. The way you let clips linger in some places is creepy and cool.

Ooooooh, this is so well done. Creepy, but more than that, how you play with visual matches to give this sense of unreality. Really cool.

Oh, wow! I love how I felt like *I* was stalking them, like the demon. And the blood in the swimming pool. And the hands. And the blades of grass. I love how you structured this.

Yiiiiikes vidder, this was such a subtle yet intense viewing experience. I was watching *through my fingers* the first time (had to go back and rewatch just to better appreciate it, heh) because you captured such a deep sense of dread just by holding on certain shots. The whole idea and structure of this vid is awesome and really paid off, with all the motifs having their own unique feeling, from the back-of-head shots to the hands to the constant motion toward the end of the vid.

Very stylistic, it manages to be unsettling without being overt horror, just hints at the horror underneath.

Ooh wow this is so beautiful and creepy and cool! I really love the interesting structure and how you highlight the different visual parallels and the slowness that let's me really look at take in the shots. Such beautiful imagery, I love it!

*bows down before you*

Well, vidder, what you managed to create here isn't so much a vid (in the traditional sense) but a piece of video art. I'm really not musically gifted and especially have a hard time differentiating, oh let's say, five pieces of score, but the way you broke it down VISUALLY was just soooo precise and BRILLIANT!

I see the sections so clearly, and it not only works within the frame of the films' own intentions (the use of camera and audience participation of ~following~ etc) but truly highlights all the different pieces that we as humans tend to overlook as we seek out to connect via eye contact. This is a vid without faces! (I mean, there were some and they were precisely placed, don't get me wrong, but you know what I mean!) To me this vid almost transcends the context of the movie itself and forces the audience to reckon with the imagery on a more cinematic level? Like what new form do the images take if you're only seeing the back of a subject's head, or only her hands, or only the objects that are a part of her world? What is it to just see a camera's POV?! Ugh it's just so good! It's truly inspirational!

This vid is such a standout for me this year and I hope others are as affected by it. It's the definition of thinking outside the box when it comes to vidding and I can't thank you enough for creating it!

What a cool concept and really well executed! The transition between the pieces was very smooth, too. The music was beautiful yet creepy, aka the perfect fit for the visuals, which were beautiful yet creepy. :D

I really loved this!
