This is so good! I love the song choice that fits with the scale of the time travel and theme of revolution.

The section with Sonja's relationships with Kagame and Travis killed me. Sonja/Travis especially had me clutching my shipper heart. You showed their epicness so well.

The whole vid is really fantastic. Like I've seen tons of vids to this song, but you really made it work.

I'm sorry I didn't remember reveals were today and didn't check until now! Gosh I feel like it's unfair that I was gifted THREE different vids this festivids!! And oh my gosh! This one?! Wow thank you SO much for running with my song suggestion/my idea that this song would probably work great for Liber8!! (Actually I think I was pretty open about what aspect of the show the song could work for... but Liber8 was one of my thoughts and just... YES it worked!!) It so so totally did. I am just blown away by this entire video! So well done, so captivating, so impressive. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Okay let me pick out some specific things to compliment you on:

Um Whoa that beginning, with the way it looked like Kagame was pulling up the text reading that it's a festivids 2015 gift dedicated to me?!? So creative, so well done. Yes. Really set me up to know this would be an awesome vid before it even really began. Oh and also it's a great choice of opening scene since (I think) it's how the entire series starts off too. :P

Every lyric seemed match, but the first one I noticed that really impressed me was the creative match for "let me in" with Alec typing that password, Theseus lol. Also the awesome find of a perfect literal match for "fingerprints", I don't think I would've thought of that!

I wonder if maybe at 1 minute ish you were purposefully using old Alec telling young Alec something along the lines of "don't change" or "I still do want you to go through with your Sadtech dreams" when you did the match that way kind of during, kind of right after "I never meant for you to fix yourself"? Like it seems awesome to me actually, it really does work in my head, but I don't even know if this was your intent or not. Once the two week anon period is over maybe you can tell me lol.

Okay THEN... um...

1:18ish with Julian and his father's death for "just one mistake is all it will take", GOD you crushed me, that hurt all 3? times I've seen the episode, for real, so painful and it hurt seeing it again here lol... especially considering just how much it fit the lyric.

I liked the baby shown during the lyric "born".

1:54 with the timing of your editing, the gunshot right on that beat, damn that was so GOOD!

2:09 through 2:11 worked well for me, the "gold" match with the women and champagne, the ultimate life of luxury and amazing pleasures that Alec thought Kellog was giving him and then the betrayal and how it works for "you will remember me" (because of my betrayal).


I also love 2:17 with that "just one mistake" being the one and I think only? interaction there was between older Alec and Garza, and then showing how it was all it took to almost kill younger Alec, all it took to lead to those other moments in the series... I mean it's an interesting interpretation of "mistake", but I like it more because it's not the most obvious "mistake" type match but you thought about the entire lyric, not just each individual word, and idk... it just rocked!!

And the final thing I'll mention in this comment that yes, I know, is way too long lmao... um... is I love all 3 of Kellog's (female) family members being killed and him gaping at their dying selves/at their bodies and wounds, the parallels and just... yes. That was great.

I mean god I loved so many other little moments too but I think you get it by now. ;)

I came for the Fall Out Boy, I'm leaving with a new show on my "to watch list" :D I've never seen this show, but damn now I've got to check it out! That was such an awesome vid, very powerful and slick editing!

Holy crispy crap WOW, that was an amazing and well-crafted vid. I may have to go back and finish watching season 4 now... I was so underwhelmed by the way the first two or three episodes went that I kind of didn't bother withe the rest of it.

I binge watched seasons 1-3, but by the time season 4 came out it had felt so long since I saw them that I rewatched all of seasons 1-3 before seeing season 4. Lol. So I ended up binging the entire show and I must say, season 4 felt pretty much just as good to me when I was watching like that. I really enjoyed it, and the ending of the show was well done too. I hope you do revisit season 4 -- it is on Netflix! ;) I think it's a show worth watching in its entirety.

Man, I can't even remember where I stopped watching this show but I really think I need to get back to it ASAP bc daaayum THIS VID IS EPIC! Incredible use of the song, you managed to highlight so many aspects of your story with the various layers in the music. All the different uses for the "Du du du-dus" really stood out for me, as well as the way you connected the younger characters with their older selves. And obviously all the motion you managed to capture in this vid. It really was explosive!
