Date: 2011-01-22 08:36 pm (UTC)Second, although before watching this vid I saw this movie as being about Ford's obsession with James, you do a marvelous job beginning right around 1:25 of showing that it's not one-sided, that James is aware of Ford's worship and obsession and the danger he poses, and he plays with it, like he plays with the snake - draws him in and returns his attention and tantalizes him, perhaps telling himself that he can control this dangerous creature - and so he is complicit in his own destruction which is inevitable as, heh, onrushing train.
Finally, I want to say that one reason I loved the movie is the magnificent cinematography, and you did it justice. You made a richly beautiful vid, as well as an interesting narrative. Thank you so much.
