OMG I CANT EVEN DEAL WITH MY EMOTIONS FOR THIS VID!!! Like I've seen it a million times and it SHOULD lessen the emotional impact or something but no, Hamilton and LMM NEVER get old and this vid is such an amazing condensation of why I love both of them so much. There are SO many layers to this vid that I need to watch it a million times to fully get everything and it gives me such a layered emotional response on so many levels of meaning that I love so much. I love how the song choice has raps to perfectly represent LMM and Hamilton while also taking a familiar song and making it fun and different just has LMM takes classic Broadway, pop and hip hop music and makes something new. And it feels like the singer/rapper's voice even sounds a bit like LMM and it has that rough in progress quality that LMM has in working on stuff through Twitter or first drafts in the like.

I REALLY love how you start the vid with the laptop shot and LMM deep in creating his Hamilton masterpiece with the piano keys introducing the theme of the vid of LMM's creation of Hamilton and how he's similar to him and works nonstop to make it happen. Plus it adds that personal connection with us vidders deep into working on our craft. I love how you use the words to cut the clips with especially those fast piano fingers on "getcha getcha" that works so well with the working hard concept. I also love that the process is on "fire" ie the passion LMM feels for creating and also kind of sounds like files ie the audio files he's working with. I love that you linger on the Hamilton ten dollar bill showing both the old that LMM is going to make new again, introducing Hamilton as what the vid is going to be about and leading into "so you can bang" (bang too) which works so well with how LMM can leave an impact like Hamilton as well as make money from his musical. I love how you set up the Hamilton gun duel with the next "bang bang" which works both on a literal level with both of them doing the duel in rl(statue)/on stage while also on a level of the duel that's a part of Hamilton's legacy of what people remember him for just as part of LMM's legacy will always be the Hamilton musical.

The duel transitions so well into Burr introducing Hamilton as the durr brings to mind Burr and I love how "its time to show the world your fireworks" works so well with introducing the Richard Rogers theater right after it (bringing in the RL setting). I love that the "burn" lyric is on LMM rapping in the studio in his passionate element and then the parallel to Hamilton passionately leading his men into battle with his raps. "So keep the light up in you" on LMM's cute little almost embarrassed face IS SO DAMN CUTE AND I DIE EVERY TIME!!! And I love the literal "fight up in you" being fighting in Yorktown and "spit truth even though it might offend you" (SO HAMILTON!) with the parallel between Hamilton writing and LMM rapping on late night was SO great especially with the latter showing LMM's wonderful emotion so well. The lyric "Lotta people follow" on Burr was SO perfect and then I love how it goes to Jefferson's and LMM's battle with the two of them being leaders but the with Jefferson around, the world really does need Hamilton lol. And I love that "I'm not talking about" is on the John Adams rap where he takes down John Adams as a bad president that the world doesn't need.

I really love how you use the pictures of LMM's past on "graduate from the student to the teacher" with him then being the speaker with people clapping for him shows how far he's come with his little smile you can still see from far away so cute. "You can make them a believer" landing on LMM's presidential performance is SO AWESOME and meaningful with how no one first understand Hamilton as a rapper and then later in the performance, even Obama is getting into it and everyone's loving it. I really love Hamilton's "I came from nothing" emotional face which has so much resonance with the, "made my life something", faded transition to the pictures in current time of the deal that he made happen and how his efforts are still felt in present day. The lyric "You should be the president" is SO relevant to Hamilton and I love how you showed his struggle trying to make the government work at the Constitutional Congress. I love how you used the Hamilton album cover on "I made a demo" with it's meaning to LMM and then faded it with the White House to get it's meaning to Hamilton and then it is SO PERFECT how you have Jefferson dancing to "no one discovered it" showing how Jefferson and the rest of Hamilton's enemies blemished his record and hid his accomplishments for so long. The lyrics "I made my own laws but there's no government" fits Hamilton SO well and the clips you chose were so great with Hamilton making his point and then no government being the Albany clips again.

I love that you made "everytime I fall, they were there to rub it in" (omg so Hamilton) be about Burr with his hands reminding me of his "they don't like you" comment from the musical and I love how "I came in through the other end" is matched with Hamilton rapping another argument passionately. And then you HURT me on "I'm telling you to do the same thing too" with Phillip also dueling NOOO WHYYYY (but it's so perfect though!). And that goes so well with the army he's commanding picking up their guns with "get your fireworks" and THEN OMG you KILL me with your "bang bang too" being the boys making sexual movements with Hamilton smiling and I SQUEEEE cause they're totally talking about sex yessss. I absolutely love that clip of LMM and Chris practicing their dancing together and then the "plastic bag" clip being the Reynolds Pamphlet is SO PERFECT and I love the repeated "plastic bag" is Jefferson making fun of him and then the king throwing the pamphlet up "want to start again" is SO HAMILTON especially with his expression there.

I SQUEE SO MUCH when you bring in Groffsauce singing to LMM on "do you ever feel?" which fits so well with the emotion of the lyric and makes me laugh and smile so much. And then the "already buried deep" lyric works so well with the Burr commercial parody with the guns and bullet and how Hamilton is already dead ("six feet under") which transitions so well from funny to sad with you actually showing the duel and bullet and NOOOO it hurts every time :( I super love the cutting there with the motion and how it feels so seamless going from the parody to the RL statues and back to the stage. I love that Washington's telling Hamilton that "did you know" and LMM's little trying arm movements and face on "chance for you". AND THEN ITS MY FAVORITE PART THAT MAKES ME SQUEEEEE SO MUCH EVERY TIME AND YOU RUIN MY HEART OVER AND OVER AGAIN :D :D :D First, Groffsauce making LMM laugh on "spark" makes me laugh every time and then you go into LMM on the edge of his chair trying not to laugh is just the cutest and most adorable transition to "ignite" with THE CUTEST LMM SMILE face that puts the hugest smile on my face ALWAYS and overflows me with so much love and happiness. I love how you allow that clip to linger and then it's works so well with the lyrics when you have Hamilton rest on "the" and then have the clip zoom out on "light" which really makes that moment soar and be more epic. I love how you carry that through to the stage "shine" and let that clip slowly move so you can take it in.

I love that Lafayette and LMM clapping hands on "own the night" like how they're about to win at Yorktown and then I DIE OF SMILING with LMM doing his hands back and forth smiling after the wedding on "4th of July" (so many perfect Hamilton lyrics in this song!). And OMG THAT "firework" clip to LMM's huge smile and doing the BOOM hands is SO PERFECT AND SO CUTE and I can't STOP SMILING HOW IS HE REAL???? I love that the boom makes the guy fall back after that and it fits so well to show Hamilton pulling Laurens right to him bringing up the gay allusion RIGHT INTO THE GROFFSAUCE KISS AHHHH I DIE AND SQUEE EVERY TIME!!! It's so perfect that it happens on "show them what you're worth" and how good a kisser LMM can be ;) I love how you have LMM cracking the interviewer up right on the "oh" and then "OH OH" being LMM rapping on Fallon AND DESTROYING IT IS SO EPIC and gets me so excited and proud of him every time. And then I love how that is followed up by Hamilton destroying it with My Shot and Yorktown and I absolutely love how you have his legs and hands hard hit the "ohs" and make it so much more powerful.

I love how you bring in all the other characters and performers and how they're all fireworks as well (created by LMM of course) and I love how they're all highlighted by the spotlight. And OMG I love that use of LMM kicking out his legs so excited, I can't even deal with how cute he is at this point, it's TOO MUCH. I absolute love the transition into his big opening night smile which folllows my own and I LOVE the shoes with how they bring in how we all want our stuff to be Hamilton now and bringing in the love from all the crowd and the "ohs" on the stage hugs were so great. And then having "leave them all" on the bow was so perfect and I LOVE how you finally use the literal fireworks at the very end making us wait for it (ha) but finally showing his inner beauty through it after we've seen throughout the vid that he's the shining personification of it.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for making this for me!!! It is such a precious gift to me and I am so glad I have the perfect vid to give me my daily fix of LMM's amazing face and Hamilton's awesome self and how they are both the lights of my life and this vid is as well!!! YOU are a firework for making this amazing vid for me and I am sooooo in love with it and I can't even put into words how happy it makes me. YAY HAMLET!!!

That was marvelous. It actually made me cry. I think any artist can identify with all the feelings - the imposer syndrome, "is this really happening to me?" the feeling that you could wake up at any second and have it all be a dream, and yet it's there and real and joyous. There you are, on TV, bowing to the crowd, laughing with your friends, up in the booth getting the timing just right, with your vision up there as real as a ten dollar bill. Just beautiful.

I was excited from the get-go that you made a vid about LMM and the whole phenomenon 'Hamilton' he inspired (great choice of opening clips) and then came the "spark" moment and my grin couldn't have been bigger and then "ignite" and it just soared right through to the end.
