I love the way you use the theatricality of the production rather than trying to cut around it. A brave and fascinating choice.

Oh, wow! I hadn't realized there was filmed footage of this production, especially of such good quality! Really fantastic vid!!! Captures not only the desperation of the story but also the theatricality of it as a play, which is fantastic. (And now I'm even more sad I wasn't able to see this production!)

Oh my god, this was beautiful. I haven't seen this version (but REALLY wanted to), and the visceral nature of the production, the use of color, the staging, the intimacy the camera creates, really is a gut-punch. And you've used that so well, with the strobe cuts and the focus on Blanche's complete breakdown.

Not an easy source to vid (for more than one reason) but you've done an amazing job. Anderson was hard to take my eyes off, and your editing made her even more magnetic; the range of emotions you showcase here is amazing.

This is incredible! Great use of the footage you had available -- it was amazing to me that you could keep a vid moving so well using a filmed version of a stage production. Also, I've never seen the source (which I will have to fix!) but the song and the emotional turmoil worked very well together.

I'm seeing this show later this year, and I can't begin to tell you how great it is to have it so "curated" here in a range of details - from the closeup on a threateningly gripped hand, to the staging so incorporated into the play's theme of transparency and inconstancy. Beautiful, visceral, heartbreaking work. <3

This was really intense. I'm impressed with how well it moves, considering the theatrical source.

This was extremely visceral in the best possible way for the source. Highlighting the theatricality helped me immerse into the story more, which is no easy feat considering how short it is compared to the actual play. Excellent work!

Holy. Shit. So amazing. The editing is en pointe, of course. And I love that, like the production, there are no walls. Like, so fourth wall in the narrative ending either. GAWD I LOVE IT.

This has been a blockbuster Festivids round for vidding the seemingly unviddable. Brave choice, really creative editing decisions and just overall incredibly well done.

I so, so, so, so very much love this vid I AM ABOUT TO DEVOLVE INTO NONSENSE because I am at a loss for words! Ever since I saw the screening of this production I've been wanting this vid to exist. Not only was this particular version of Streetcar amazing but it was so lskfjsalfkj wonderfully filmed that even though it was live theater it just seemed like it could be a very cool vid and I'm like beside myself about this. The brilliant incorporation of the actual audience + rotating stage right from the start up to the cast bows at the end, the song choice, the attention to detail in the performances and utilizing those close-ups...I feel like watching this source heightened in this way might even get one closer to the feeling of watching the play actually in the room, just by how much more intensely visceral the editing/effects highlight what's going on in the story (as well as the off the chain amazing performance that Gillian Anderson is giving as Blanche. GILLLIIIAAAAAN - the end beat during the bows where she's just Gillian again and you honestly don't see Blanche anymore after everything we just watched? Perfect ending is perfect). I'm still flailing around that someone actually vidded this source and so beautifully, too! Thank you, thank you, thank you for this!
