Elegant. I love the moment when the POV character's face is revealed.

Wonderful

Great choice of song that balances out the visuals (love the inclusions of the nature scenes which, I think, were so important to the movie). Neat POV, too.

What a BEAUTIFUL vid. And conceptually very - well, I'm going to steal the above comment and say it's elegant.

Apparently I should see this movie again, because this and the other vid for the source are so beautiful and highlighting all this open yearning business that I do not remember being this struck by when I saw the movie itself.

Oh.

Oh, wow.

This is astonishing. I'm sitting here shivering inside, with a lump in my throat, and...wow.

You've done something utterly, utterly amazing here. This movie has some of the most beautiful and unique footage I've ever seen, and you've shaped something mesmerizing and painful and shockingly delicate and overpowering and gorgeous out of it. And the way this vid is so much about Jesse's death wish, his struggle with himself and that clear, breathtaking landscape at the knife's edge that he's getting lost in, that Robert is getting lost in along with him, the pull of the darkness where the soul is worn thin.

*breathless*

Oh, vidder. This is SPECTACULAR. This is more than I could have hoped for, and I'm stunned you delivered it under such a tight deadline. You have restored my faith in humanity and fandom, and created such an inspiration for vidding. I can barely get past my awe to coherently say what I love about it, other than the dead-on things [personal profile] isagel said. Thank you for sharing my vision of this film as something otherworldly and fragile, full of quiet grace and tension that vibrates between Robert and Jesse. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

And this is really the perfect description of the movie. Yes, exactly how I felt about it.

That music is just perfect. I love how quiet it is. It feels like it's the same grays and browns the vid is full of.
