This is just ridiculously adorable! I love the way the song works on multiple levels–the lyrics are a great fit for Basil and Dawson, obviously, but also the part about Technicolor in the refrain, and then the instrumentation is a nice stripped-down contrast with the OTT Mancini soundtrack, and also I just basically adore this movie forever and ever.

What a lovely song choice--so evocative and nostalgic, perfect for these two. I particularly loved the part where Dawson gets angry at Basil while they are trapped; it went really well with the music.
