Okay, let me preface this by stating that I JUST finished watching all of Sons of Anarchy in the space of about a week, and this is clearly the perfect vid for that emotional and mental state, and the following babbling should be understood in that context.

PHWOAR. There were just so many perfect little editing choices in this, like cutting from Jax stabbing the Russian to Jax hugging Tara in the same motion, and the little one-two-three cut adding Gemma and Clay to the picture on "never. let. go," and the re-appropriation of Unsler's threat to Clay to make it really clear that Clay was the one going after Tara, and the little touch at the end with the gavel - PHWOAR, I SAY AGAIN. I can't wait to download this.

This was really, really perfect for the show. Your choice of music is stellar, and I really love this version of Tara and Jax. I like that the vid doesn't shy away from how gruesome Jax's 'job' is. And omg that thing you did at 1:30 was eery and amazing, with the generations piling up Abel-Jax-Clay -- yikes. And I love how that mirrors the ending, and how that's always been Jax's key conflict -- history repeating itself. Oh, and extra love for the Tara-Gemma section ♥♥♥ Ack, wonderful!

Terrific vid for this show, this couple, and especially this season, which was hard to watch. I love the parallels with Clay and Gemma and John Teller's roots running under the soil for all of it. Song's perfect, loved the quick stutter in the middle that keyed everything up. It's one I'll watch and rewatch, to catch everything.

I've only seen a few episodes of this (but this makes me want to press on!) but this song and your clip choices were so precise that this was really powerful anyway. You did such a good job portraying the club as an institution, a dynasty, so all the Clay and Gemma interacting with Jax and Tara stuff has all this weight to it. When Gemma and Clay appear behind Jax over the baby's crib, wow wow.
