Oh, Claudia and Steve. This was a really nice look at the two of them.

Ok, wow. I feel like you managed to nail both pieces of my request, which I didn't think was possible -- pulling together both the loveliness of Claudia and Jinx's friendship and the more meta take on/anger at the crap that The Powers That Be put Jinx's character through this season. It's so heartbreaking -- Claudia's trust, she'll leave her window open (and the quick beat at the start reminding us how she reminds him of his sister -- watch another woman waste away), and all the lines about being a charming man -- the bitterness he feels at having to deceive her, and omg, goosebumps at "you know my family." And then gah, Claudia's faith in him, her determination to bring him back, the metronome, gah, I love it. LOVE SO MUCH. Ok, off to watch again!

I'm only a casual watcher, but the relationship between Claudia and Steve is one of my favorite things about the show, and you've shown me why here. Nicely done.

Oh gods, that plot arc on the show was all sorts of painful but strong, and this vid captures all of it. Loved the family at 1:35, so perfect, and the metronome shots. Such a good song choice for this.
