OMG THIS VID. The song is really well chosen, and the story, you translated it from the film into the vid just brilliantly. I just want to take Wikus out for a beer to share a depressing laugh about how crazy everything got.

ETA: I had to add to my comment and say, I am so impressed you managed to make this vid happy while still having the same story as the film. I have Feelings about the themes and issues in the film, and it always makes me cry when I see it. This vid still had those elements, but magically, without cheapening them or glossing over, you made it happy, I was able to giggle at the absurdity in places. This is a masterpiece, to me, for that trick of tone you pulled off. Very well done, festividder.

Never saw the movie but I thought this was awesome - love the contrast of the upbeat sound of the song (if not the lyrics!) with the gruesomeness of the imagery.

This is such a cool juxtaposition of song and visuals in the same way that the darker lyrics of the song play against the peppier sound of the music. I hadn't planned on seeing this movie, but congratulations, you've convinced me to.
