OH MY GOSH. This is just. This is SUCH the perfect song for Batman Beyond, and just, wow. I don't even know where to start with all the best parts of this. I will try to come back and leave better feedback but I just wanted you to know immediately that I am so delighted and impressed with this. Thank you so much!

Oh festividder, this is GORGEOUS! It's such an excellent painting of Batman Beyond's Bruce Wayne and I love how present you've made Terry in the video. Fantastic vid!

This is astonishing and wonderful. The music is so perfect, with the hurt of being Batman, and the way it's about being alone--except, of course, for how it's not. Bruce loses so much, up to and including the parts of himself that are Batman--but he gets some of it back when he has Terry, in a lot of ways that have nothing to do with cane-fu.

I adored the juxtapositions of the cases and Tim and Barbara as a sign of loss, particularly. But oh, this whole vid is glorious.

This gave me chills. First at "goes away in the end," then when Bruce shakes Terry's hand. Nicely done.

Wow, that's sharp. I thought the images you kept coming back to worked really well. I loved how you went back and forth with the different Bats. And oh, Timmy. Lovely work!

Oh God BATFAMILY. The angst and effed-upedness of the Batman lifestyle just *pervades* this whole thing. SO GOOD.

Oh, this song choice is so apt--it really gives the stylized animated source an additional sense of gravitas. I really want to watch this now.

"Return of the Joker" is AWESOME. I mean, it's better if you've seen the Batman Beyond series(and even more amazing if you've seen the other Dini-verse Batman cartoons), but it's just a really, really good movie. Make sure you get the uncut/uncensored version, though.

Where should I start? How long is the series?

BB itself is fairly short--just over 50 episodes at 20 minutes each, and ROTJ is about 75 minutes. I'd imagine the whole series is available on DVD--ROTJ definitely is--but if not, it's definitely out there on the internet somewhere, in the usual venues.

If you want to get into the other Dini series, there's a lot more of that, but Wikipedia can probably tell you more than I can, as I've only sampled them. Objectively, they're probably better--especially the first one, that's just Batman and guest stars--but BB just really appeals to me, because I like partnerships and teams.
