FEELINGS. You made giant robots jumping and giant sea monsters flying into really, like, contemplative moments, how does that work? I love all the interonnectedness of Mako's and Raleigh's stories, the parallel motion connecting them together even when they're not in the jaeger together. Really lovely vid.

lasjalskjd what is happening, I got chills and started tearing up. This is so lovely. This it the movie that Tumblr promised me Pacific Rim would be -- Mako and Raleigh and the weight of memory, of humans working together and grasping for hope, of genuine empathy and connection. (Not that Pacific Rim itself isn't also all of these things, and also lots of robot-on-giant-monster action, but the way you've collected those moments here brings them into soft, luminescent focus.)

This is so, so lovely, and such an unexpectedly perfect song. So let's be killers, babe, in Tom McRae's beautiful, wistful, hopeful voice, is absolutely Mako and Raleigh.

If I'd thought the movie was going to be like this vid, I would have seen it already. Wonderful focus on characters and relationships here, almost ballet-like control over the action sequences. Just yummy.

This is so emotionally gorgeous, from the juxtaposition of their losses, to the running strand of hope, on to the way you use the Jaeger action. The beat with Mako and the umbrella was perfection.
