Oh, Dear Festividder, thank you so much! I never really believed I'd get lucky enough to get an Eyes of Laura Mars vid! I figured the chances were so low that anyone had ever seen the movie, let alone could find a song to vid to it. And you found a perfect song! So double bonus because I adore Janelle Monae so much. I love that you have her putting the gun to his body on the line about their love being so bright and true (I kind of laughed out loud). Aw, they are so cute and tragic and doomed.

Lovely vid, but I kept getting distracted by Tommy Lee Jones. He was so young! And Faye Dunaway was so stunning. Like eye candy from the past.

I love your choice of music here: the vocal quality and the tone of the music sets the perfect tone for the period/colors/look of the source. What's going on emotionally wasn't as clear to me since I haven't seen it, but I loved the ending.
