Holy crap this is AMAZING. I think this is the VG vid I have always wanted. The song works SO well, I love the swift cutting against the still shots, it makes some of the subtle gestures and head tilts stand out so will and gives them so much meaning.

"You show up just to look at them looking at you" god, PERFECT.

and the Curt section was so bitter and the slink of it.

"what I should have said" with Arthur, holy crap that is the perfect clip for that lyric, oh wow.

And then the last 30 seconds with all of them swirling together, oh oh oh. Their beginnings and their endings all swirled together, this complicated knot with Brian at the center.

I love the structure of this vid, the three of them each getting a distinct voice and section and then all of them together. GORGEOUS and it breaks my heart just like the movie always does, but without the glitter coating that makes it all go down easily. This stays rough, no pat answers, no easy ending. I love it.

And now I can't wait for downloads, seriously. AMAZING.

THIS, oh my god, THIS, this is the vid I think I've wanted to see ever since the first time I saw this glorious mess of a movie. Gorgeous editing and brilliant, brilliant song choice and wonderful evocation of the whole beautiful fucked-up chaos and longing of it all.

(And Mandy! OMG Mandy! Do you know what it's like trying to find fanworks for this movie when your favorite character is Mandy? So that was nice.)

This is overwhelming and dizzying like its source, and it makes me hurt for the people behind the masks in the same way. They can't see each other properly for the desire, but they're all so damn beautiful.

Oh my gosh, this vid is incredible. I jumped ahead in the alphabet because were_duck recced it and WOW was it worth it. I love the way you've cut together the three big narrative arcs of the ways that Brian impacted everybody's lives while keeping the focus entirely on people observing Brian instead of letting the focus be on him.

Right now I love Mandy's arc in this vid the best, mostly because I love her so much and most fanworks tend to focus on Kurt more. You show her narrative arc across different times so well! I suspect that every rewatch is going to show me more and more layers. I am so in love with it.

I have only one criticism, and it that now I am basically ruined for other vids of the source, because this one has done everything for me.

Oh, oh, oh! This is just spectacular. I can't fully articulate all I love about this vid right now, but maybe after the many rewatches there will most definitely be I'll have more than speechless wonder. Seriously, though. Wow.

Oh wow, thank you! This is so overwhelming, with the intensity of the build at the end. The way you've used the lyrics is marvellous, and the the editing really highlights all these different small moments.

I love how it all mixes in, the overlap of Mandy and Kurt's perspectives, how messed up it all gets. How Arthur's love might be different but it still matters, intensely. How Brian is there but it's not about him, it's not his story ... so basically, you have made the vid of my dreams ♥ And (thank god for cacheing!) it just gets better every time I watch it. So I will have to do that lots more :)

This is so great, and I agree with every rec I've seen. Love the Mandy POV in particular, her fabulousness that refuses to give in to the position of uninteresting woman that she gets forced into. The way all three characters come together in a swirl around the vortex of Brian is beautiful. I love the rhythm of it, too... I can't wait to download a shiny copy!
