Perfect treat is perfect!!!

I love it so much <3 It captures all the shenanigans so beautifully.

Fave moments so far: the dancing throughout (having a ball bopping on the big dance floor!), the policeman as the square cat, the bowler hats, and Frederick sighing at the Pirate King's chest (I feel you, Frederick--it's quite a chest).

Oh my God. I have seen this movie before, but most of my experience with this cast is the filmed stage production, so it was amazing to revisit the fantastic, camp, over-the-top lusciousness of the movie, and with the terrific editing and song choice as well! Terrific!

Isn't this version of Pirates of Penzance a riot? Such scenery chewing! Such unironic ridiculousness! Kevin Kline's absurd performance alone makes it worth watching. It's truly a joyful movie. So glad you enjoyed the vid. :)
