OK, I need to stop watching this long enough to thank you for it.

Dear Festividder, this is everything I ever wanted, and several things I didn't *know* I wanted. Which is a feat, because I gave you no details whatsoever.

The song choice is absolutely perfect! Lucious with his hands folded around 0:50--I love it for reasons I can't explain. Also, Andre at "act sane."

And ALL THE COOKIE during Nicki Minaj's verse. I dunno if you know this, but "Child's Play" is one of my very favorite movie series, and Cookie is one of my favorite characters in "Empire" so I kinda lost it at "And I’ll say boy the Chucky is Child’s play." Not to mention "You could be the Queen but watch the King conquer."

You even got Becky in there!

And just to reiterate--I totally dropped the ball as far as request details were concerned, but you managed to make me the PERFECT VID ANYWAY.

Oh, wow -- this is some killer song choice. As others have said, vidding Cookie on Nicki's verse is brilliant, but I also appreciated Kanye's verses as a terrific match for Lucious's arrogance ("my presence is a present" is totally something Lucious would say), and I was totally and unexpectedly moved by the flashbacks to Jamal's childhood on Jay-Z's "the carnage that I’ve seen."
