I've only ever seen one episode of this show, but your vid makes me so fascinated by what is going on between them, the multiplicity of faces, the carousel of connections.

Oh, Don and Peggy. I loved how you paralleled these events in their pasts and show how their characters were built. I especially liked the end with Peggy looking at Pete transitioning to Pete toasting Don. Very cool links throughout.

This makes me miss Peggy sharply. I love the way you've shown their evolution--all of them--from Don's circling around and around the same problem, to Joan as strong as anything, to Pete always trying to catch up, and Betty being one more of the women Don loses. But Peggy, as much as Don, feels like your through-line here, as strong and beautiful as anyone could be in all that mess.

I'm going to repost the rec I gave this, because I'm still slightly stunned by it and rather lost for words:

And I'm still working up anything at all to say about this one. It's about Don going to pieces and Peggy growing up and this indefinable place where they meet in the middle, and "let it be" meaning something slightly different every time, and oh my god, the part in the middle intercutting Adam Whitman and That Thing from the end of S1, I gasped. Go watch.

This is utterly beautiful. Honestly.
