WOW. Before watching, I thought the music choice might be just a bit too obvious, but it wasn't at all. I think using the non-REM version helped with that. Excellent pacing, and loved the way the emphasis shifted from the disaster porn (end of the world) to the nature regeneration (I feel fine).

Oh, fabulous! This is actually what I got out of the series, too -- it always made me happy knowing that the planet would continue, and do just fine without us.

This was a great song choice, with great editing to go with it. Lots of places caught my eye (and I'm sure more will pop out on rewatching), but the one that really struck me as especially brilliant was "offer me solutions, offer me alternatives, and I decline" - wow, seriously, brilliant clip choices there, with hydro and wind and then nuclear exploding.
