Oooooh, this was fun, which is not what I would've expected from the series. Great, great use of all the time-lapse footage, and music choice. I never knew the apocalypse could be so fun. *g*

Apocalypse WOW!

The speeded-up time-lapse stuff goes so beautifully with the frantic pace of the song. I could just watch this over and over again as a visual treat.

Whoa so fast-paced! It was really cool how you coupled all the sped-up time-lapsed footage and the speedier version of the song. Awesome :D

WOW. Before watching, I thought the music choice might be just a bit too obvious, but it wasn't at all. I think using the non-REM version helped with that. Excellent pacing, and loved the way the emphasis shifted from the disaster porn (end of the world) to the nature regeneration (I feel fine).

I wouldn't have expected "beautiful" or "fun" to be adjectives to describe the apocalypse, but you manage both in spades--so cool!

I've always loved how Alan Doyle's interpretation makes this song so oddly cheerful, and I equally love how you've used it to celebrate this oddly joyous post-apocalyptic vision. Just marvelous.

Oh, fabulous! This is actually what I got out of the series, too -- it always made me happy knowing that the planet would continue, and do just fine without us.

This was a great song choice, with great editing to go with it. Lots of places caught my eye (and I'm sure more will pop out on rewatching), but the one that really struck me as especially brilliant was "offer me solutions, offer me alternatives, and I decline" - wow, seriously, brilliant clip choices there, with hydro and wind and then nuclear exploding.

Kudos, festividder!
