Aww yeah. This movie looks like a lot of fun, though I'm a bit alarmed by sasha_feather's implication that the movie is not Kato's story the way this vid is, because this vid is the movie I want to watch.

I love the spin at 0:27, the twirl at 0:35, his work experience, "license to kill", the kick across the room at 1:24 and the catapault at 1:28, the subsequent martial arts/basketball scene, "whiffleball bat", "have some fun", wtf the car-hedge, "my name's Mike D.", "he's my ace", and "the music stopped".

I was pleasantly surprised the first time I saw this movie; while it's still very much Britt's story, Kato and Lenore had bigger parts than I had expected going into it, which was very cool!

Thank you! I recommend the movie ... I suspect it didn't do terribly well at the box office because it was more character-driven comedy than gritty action flick, but since I like the former more than the latter, it really worked for me.

BRILLIANT usage of this song, this version. I loved the opening with the 'horsy' and beer and "Sheriff's posse", and the rest of the vid was just as fun.

Yay! I'm glad the song worked for you! I waffled a lot on song choice, even after I had about a third of the timeline done (this song is so long! and none of my attempts to cut it panned out!) but eventually I couldn't resist it's lounge-y ridiculousness.

This is the best thing that ever happened to that movie (which is fabulously funny, and I love it a lot), but yes, Kato! It's all about Kato, and this vid does him justice. I love all the literalism in the clip-to-lyric matching, too!
