I'm intrigued now. I haven't watched the show, but this vid has convinced me that I should.

This is such an awesomely, yet bizarrely, creepy vid! I love the way the beat keeps the whole thing moving: it felt to me like the way the show has the characters going through their lives, if that makes sense, that they HAVE to because, like the beat, it just keeps on going. It made me feel bad for them, in the way the show does.

Okay, I don't even really seek out vids to speak of, but that was outstanding. The song choice was so inspired that it made me jump up and down, and jesus, the effort that must have gone into the clip choice (using some of the shots from the previews as well as scenes from the show was totally genius)--I can't even imagine. I'm more of a fic person than a vid person, so I'm totally talking through my hat here, but if even I can tell that you have an impressive talent, then there's really something there.

Anyway, I hope that whoever you are, you're already hanging out with us at theamericans! But if you aren't, please join us! Because you are talented like WHOA, and you understand this show so well.

Oh wow, this is GREAT. You draw out so many parallels between the Russians and the Americans and their various spycrafting activities (manipulation via sex: such a tried and true tactic), and you tie in all the messy--and, as the song lyrics point out, so easily questionable--"personal" life details, and no one can ever trust ANYONE EVER AGAIN.

The editing's great, too: very kinetic and tied so tightly in to what the music's doing. I enjoyed this!

Oh my god, oh my god, this is so freaking amazing! I love this show so much and this vid is sooo good. The song is perfect and this vid is like the whole show encapsulated. It's just perfection. I love the climax with the repeating "can't love, can love" Argh, wonderful.
