It's a great song choice, it's gentle but with the way you've edited the clips there is still such a great feeling of intensity. I *love* the way you've conveyed their dedication to their sport. Wonderful!

Beautiful vid of dedication and perseverance and I love the way the music builds to a climax with the Olympics. I have seen this movie since it first came out, but now I really, really want to watch it again soon.

oh my god, Festividder, after watching this for the first time I am crying and can barely catch my breath. This is gorgeous, visually and thematically and emotionally, and it shows all the things I love about the movie in a new light. The song is so perfect too - slow but intense, contemplative, and by the end soaring.

I love the way you've portrayed the journeys that Eric Liddell and Harold take - Eric struggling with his responsibilities and Harold with his difference, both of them with the same devotion and drive for running despite everything else that sets them apart. Their mutual respect and admiration is so lovely too - my heart stopped at the shot of Harold watching Eric run for the first time, crushing the paper in his hands - and of all their interactions afterwards. Eric's relationship with his sister is beautifully done as well - starting off with heartache and ending with comfort and pride.

And, most of all, I love love love how this expresses the sheer joy of running, the exhilaration and excitement, the feeling of power that comes with it. It sounds sort of weird to say, but watching this makes me want to go for a run? Which I hope you will take as a compliment because it certainly feels that way to me.

Thank you so much, anonymous Festividder! This is everything I could have wanted from a Chariots of Fire vid, and I hope everyone watches it so that they can feel the same way.

This is lovely! There's such a nice sense of motion, of joy - and also a sense of devotion and focus. And as fiercynn commented, the scene with Harold watching Eric run was really powerful. The whole vid builds so nicely and smoothly to the triumphant end.
