WOW.

Because of the nature of the song, I was expecting a straight-up focus on reincarnation, maybe exploring some of the shared visual tropes from each half of the film. I was NOT expecting an examination on filmmaking, Bollywood, and celebrity. But it's perfect! And perfectly in tune with the themes of the film. What a lovely and layered vid! I can't wait to check out the rest of your vids once the reveals are up.

(Also: I have loved BNL, and this song, since middle school, so that was a nice trip down memory lane for me.)

Om and Shanti recreating movie scenes, the script guy turning their conversation into dialogue, REINCARNATION OF COURSE, behind the scenes, BEHIND THE SCENES MATTING WITH THE OLD FOOTAGE hahahaha, Deewangi Deewangi endless stream of cameos but also behind the scenes, actual cast interviews and award show stuff and the characters interviewed and award show'd. And you included Kajol I am so happy <3333333

THIS IS SO AMAZING! I love how many layers this goes into -- it's all been done and it's all been done and now we can do it again WITH DIGITAL IMAGE TECHNOLOGY because why the heck not. I love that this vid is a celebration of all those layers, and the fact that it's all been done before and WE CAN DO IT AGAIN BECAUSE WE LOVE IT, just like Om Shanti Om is basically a celebration of these things in and of itself. So good!
