Confession time: I totally forgot that Festivids go-live was today until I went to turn off my computer to go to bed and chrome happened to be open to the festivids page and then I watched this and I just! Ahhhhh, I meant to come back here way earlier, but ~hands~ I am the worst at things like the passage of time.

I just want to say again how much I love this. It fills me with such incredible glee and love for this film and this character each time I watch. And trust me: I have watched MANY MANY times. It is exactly the vid I wanted for this film and it makes me smile outrageously every time I watch it. I am so happy that you made this vid and even happier that you made it for meeeeeeeeeeee. I am still also over the moon that you used the song I suggested. Not only am I thrilled because you apparently agreed enough to indulge me, I'm thrilled because a) I don't have to make the vid myself and b) this vid is better than the one I would have made to this song. <3

This is really great! What a strange-looking movie, and yet you really pulled out the story and the feelings. Many pathos, such strange, very wow.

This was amazing. This song was a great pick. I loved how the vid had a strong sense of ernest heroics, despite the advertisements, ancestor comparisons, and dull bus riding. So much feeling in this vid. The sections you opened and closed the vid with, BRILLIANT.
